WDO (Wood Destroying Organisms) Inspections
"What is a Wood Destroying Organism?"
Well it represents just that, wood destroying things, such as, termites, ants, beetles, bees, and wood fungus. Not all ants, beetles, and bees destroy wood, and a WDO inspection concentrates on those specific species.
"Isn't it just a termite inspection?"
No, it is more involved then a standard termite inspection. The area needs to be surveyed for conditions that can cause the little buggers to try to move in, and follow the trail at that point.
If you do end up with some roommates then a WDO Inspection lists the specific species so they can be properly evicted.
"Montana doesn't have termites, does it?"
Well, once again a WDO Inspection is looking for more than just termites. To answer the question, yes there are cases of termites in Montana. Luckily this is not a big issue here, but it does pose a concern, along with the other structural pests being inspected for.
